Notice from R.K. Bernstein,
MD, FACE, FACN, FCCWS

Dear colleagues and concerned citizens,

If you or someone close to you suffer from diabetes, obesity or the metabolic syndrome, you are probably well aware of the great damage that has been caused by the high carbohydrate diets advocated by the U.S. government and by powerful medical societies.

The Nutrition and Metabolism Society needs your help in disseminating cutting edge research on how low carbohydrate diets can help improve the health of our population.  I call on all journalists, bloggers, readers, and concerned members of the diabetes community to join the Nutrition and Metabolism Society and support our work.

Please:

-- link your blog to the Nutrition and Metabolism Society  (www.MetabolismSociety.org)

-- ask your readers to join the Nutrition and Metabolism Society

-- keep your readers updated as we sound the call for major change in nutrition policy nationwide!

Thank you for your continued support,

R.K. Bernstein,

“The deleterious effects of fat have been measured in the
presence of high carbohydrate. A high fat diet in the presence
of high carbohydrate is different than a high fat diet in the
presence of low carbohydrate.”
